Wat is het verschil tussen een Mentor en een Study Coach?

Mentors play a crucial role in your learning journey at Winc Academy.

They have in-depth knowledge of the course material, assignments, and programs. They can help you with various questions or challenges — for example, about using HTML, the REPLIT platform, or a new tool in Power BI.

After you submit an assignment, mentors will provide feedback to help you improve. In short, mentors act as teachers who support you throughout your studies and guide you toward graduation.

Study Coaches, on the other hand, cannot help you with content-related questions about the lessons, assignments, or programs.

However, they can help you with all other types of questions and concerns.

They specialize in supporting the broader aspects of your learning experience. You can discuss anything with them that might currently be affecting your performance — such as issues with your (mental) health, lack of motivation, struggles with time management, or other personal challenges. This is the team you should contact for those matters.

Getting in touch:

You can reach the mentors via Slack for everyday matters and content-related questions about your course.

If you encounter one or more complex questions about the course material, we recommend scheduling a one-on-one consultation. Click here to book a consultation.

Our Learner Admin Team, which includes the Study Coaches, can help with a wide range of topics, such as administrative questions and creating a plan to graduate within your allotted time.

You can easily contact them by emailing learneradmin@wincacademy.nl. We aim to respond within two working days.
