Can I postpone the deadline for my UWV-funded course?

We highly recommend you to try to meet your initial deadline. On average, our students won’t need all the time we give, and experience taught us that you are more likely to graduate from your studies if you actively keep studying in a regular way. Rather than delaying and trying to come back into it later. Please read this article to learn more about our extra support services.

Keep in mind that the UWV has funded your course for a limited duration, and you agreed to complete it within that time frame. However, we understand that sometimes events happen in your life that you have no control over. If you feel you might not be able to graduate within the time you’re given and you have tried the best you can, you can request extra time from both the UWV and us.

Start by reaching out to us through email at learneradmin@wincacademy.nl. Additionally, make sure to contact your UWV Advisor Work (Case Manager). We maintain close communication with them and report on your progress. Ensuring all parties are aware of your situation is crucial. Together, we'll find the best solution to help you graduate! Uncertain how to contact your Advisor Work? Follow these steps:

  1. Login to the UWV-portal
  2. Go to the inbox
  3. Open earlier conversations between you and your Advisor Work
  4. Reply to a message or start a new conversation.


Be aware that we are bound to our General Terms & Conditions and it is not always possible for us to extend the maximum access duration of your course. We therefore advise you to first request extra support from our team and together make a plan.
